On the table of contents notebooks have the word ‘All’ in the dropdown when filtering but the section list does not for user-created sections.
Luckily users can add this manually themselves:
Go to Tools|Options
Select Notebook Layout
Find the notebook you want and click on it
Above (Add Section) enter All and then press ADD ITEM

Generally you do not need to manually save when using YourOtherMind, the Writer’s Organizer.
YourOtherMind autosaves your work whenever you move between pages, create new notes, et cetera.
Occasionally, especially when working on a story, you will want to do a Manual Save. This is easy to do:  just go to the menu and choose Page|Save Now.

If you are finding that YourOtherMind, the Writer’s Organizer is somewhat sluggist go into the menu (Tools) and select Options.
Look for the field LOGGING in the grid (under the heading General). Set the value to false. Press OK.
You must restart YourOtherMind to see the changes take effect.
